Hey guys, I’ve got a business card design with a small twist that I’m excited to share today.

I got the request from Mariko Yamazaki, the owner of her business “Iris Heart Maria,” where she practices various types of healing and therapy. In addition, she’s enthusiastic about spreading the word about an amazing line of jewelry by Shankari!

The thing is, normal business cards are boring, so we thought we’d create something a bit more original – something that people would actually enjoy receiving.
And here it is! Here on the front we have Mariko’s DesignMe face logo showing prominently. We used green as an accent color for both her business name and the Shankari pendant that she’s wearing.
And on the back…

Well, there are actually 3 different designs for the back!
The same design forms the basis for all of them, but the color and the jewelry pieces are different for each one. And underneath each piece is an explanation of its special characteristics and powers.
So like a trading card, one side is always the same but the other is not! “Actually the back is different depending on the card.” ”What, really? Can I see the other ones?” That, paired with a specially designed face logo on the other side, makes for a unique card.
Just with a little creativity, even the most ordinary things can undergo a transformation!

A Face Logo with a microphone

Hey guys, I just went to an amazing live music performance by the singer Macotti (real name: Makoto Ooyoshi)! His voice was really dynamic! It was sometimes gentle, and at other times just full of power and made a huge impression on me. And guess what! He uses a DesignMe face logo, too!

The story is that he saw his friend using a face logo on his business card, and it made enough of an impact that he wanted one as well. And lo and behold, checking my email one day I found a photo of Macotti with a microphone in hand and a request for a DesignMe face logo. He specifically asked me to include the microphone in his face logo, and
what could I do but oblige? Here’s the finished product in all it’s glory.
And it’s got quite a bit of glory, because he’s using it on his business card and posters for his performances!
